As owner and editor of a local magazine I was very much focused on creating content and securing advertisements.  I asked Annabelle to take a look at the sales aspect of the business because my profit margins were running lower than forecast.  Annabelle worked her way through all of my advertising agreements and identified a number of unpaid invoices which made a dramatic impact on profitability.  Sometime later I gave Annabelle a copy of a buy-out proposal and sought her views.  She identified some high risk areas which were hidden in legalese; and recommended I decline the buy-out offer. Annabelle quickly responded to my queries (sometimes in the evenings at weekends) and provided a thorough and indispensable service.

I worked with Annabelle as part of Arup’s involvement as Independent Certifier (IC) on the $1.2b Sydney Electronic Ticketing System (ETS) Project. As Project Manager, Annabelle managed the IC team responsible for delivering impartial reviews of project deliverables at pre-defined milestones to determine whether completion of each milestone had been achieved in accordance with the requirements of the Project Deed. The IC team comprised of more than twenty personnel from five specialist consulting firms based in Sydney, Brisbane and London. Of particular value was the perspective she brought in reviewing the delivery consortium’s project operations in the US and UK. This required a detailed understanding of sound project management methodology in the context of bespoke commercial and technical requirements for a large transport infrastructure project with a multi-national development footprint. Annabelle has proven herself to be a resilient, capable and driven senior project manager who is able to operate effectively in a challenging consulting environment. Her direct and honest approach has earned her the respect of both colleagues and clients alike.
